Which
का अर्थ होता है "जिसे" या "जिसको" और इसका प्रयोग हम दूसरे वाक्यों मैं आने हम वाली निर्जीव वस्तुओं के लिए करते हैं | इसके द्वारा हम दो वाक्यों को जोड़कर हम एक Complex Sentence निम्न प्रकार बनाते हैं -
1- यदि दोनों वाक्यों के Subject एक ही हों तो हम पहले वाक्य के सब्जेक्ट को लिखते हैं इसके बाद Which लगाकर दूसरे वाक्य के Subject अर्थात It को हटाकर पूरा वाक्य लिख देते हैं | अंत मैं प्रथम वाक्य के शेष भाग के लिखते हैं |
Example-
Gita is a holy book.
It was written by Vyas.
Gita which was written by Vyas is a holy book.
Taj Mahal is a beautiful building.
It was build by Shahajahan.
Taj Mahal which was built by Shahjahan is a beautiful building.
२-यदि एक वाक्य का Object एंड दूसरे वाक्य का Subject एक ही हो तो हम Object वाले वाक्य को प्रथम वाक्य मानते हुए उसे वैसा का वैसा लिखते हैं | उसके बाद Which लगाकर Subject वाले वाक्य से Subject हटाकर शेष वाक्य को लिख देते हैं |
