Use Of Articles
Articles दो प्रकार के होते है -
1- Indefinite Article- "A" और "An" Indefinite Article होते है |
"A" और "An" का प्रयोग अनिश्चित (Indefinite) Singular Noun से पूर्व किया जाता है |
2- Definite Article- "The" Definite Article होता है |
"The" का प्रयोग निश्चित(Definite) Noun से पूर्व किया जाता है |
A- का अर्थ होता है "एक" और इसका प्रयोग हम व्यंजन से प्रारंभ होने वाले शब्दों से पूर्व करते है |
Example-
1- This is
a car.
2- He has
a toy.
3- He ate
a banana.
यदि कोई शब्द स्वर से प्रारम्भ हो रहा है तथा उच्चारित करने पर व्यंजन से प्रारम्भ होता हुआ प्रतीत होता हो उससे पूर्व Article के रूप है मैं A का प्रयोग करते है |
Example-
1- He is
a university player.
2- I saw
a one eyed man.
3- Copper is
a useful metal.
An- का अर्थ होता है "एक" इसका प्रयोग हम स्वर अर्थात (A , E , I , O , U ) से प्राम्भ होने वाले शब्दों से पूर्व करते है |
Example-
1- He ate
an apple.
2- This is
an elephant.
3- He bought
an ox.
यदि कोई शब्द व्यंजन से प्रारम्भ होता है परन्तु उच्चारित करने पर स्वर से प्रारम्भ होता हुआ प्रतीत हो तो उससे पूर्व हम Article के रूप मैं an का प्रयोग करते है |
Example-
1- She is
an honest girl.
2- He played cricket half
an hour.
संक्षिप्त शब्दों से पूर्व हम A अथवा An का प्रयोग कर सकते है यदि पहले अछर को उच्चारित करने पर स्वर की ध्वनि ("ए' की ध्वनि) निकले तो an का प्रयोग करते है |
Example-
1- Ram is
an S.P. of Morena
2- Rustam is
an M.L.A.
The-का प्रयोग हम निम्नलिखित स्थितियों मै करते है-
1- यदि कोई Noun अपनी पूरी प्रजाति की विशेषतायें बताए तो उससे पूर्व हम Article के रूप मै The लगाते है|
Example-
1- The cow is
The pet animal.
2- The dog is
The faithful animal.
2- Suprlative degree मै adjectiv से पूर्व the का प्रयोग करते है |
Example-
1- Ram is
the best boy in class.
2- Gita is
the most intelligent girl in class.
3- Unique वस्तुओ जैसे- सूर्य,चन्द्रमा ,पृथ्वी ,तारे से आदि से पूर्व हम Article के रूप मै The का प्रयोग करते है |
Example-
1-
The sun rises in the east.
2-
The earth moves around the sun.
4- The का प्रयोग हम दिशाओ से पूर्व भी करते है |
Example-
1-
The sun rises in
the east.
2-
The stars are twinkeling in
the south.
5- पद नाम से पूर्व article के रूप मै The का प्रयोग करते है |
Example-
1- I met to
the principal.
2- Did you talk to
the collector.
6- The का प्रयोग हम झील,समुद्र ,नदी , खाड़ी,पर्वतमाला, एैतिहासिक इमारतों प्रसिद्ध पूस्तक,पत्र,पत्रिकाओ से पूर्व सार्वजनिक स्थलों से पूर्व जाति या समुदाय के नाम से पूर्व बाद्ययन्त्रो से पूर्व ,
रेलगाड़ी या हवाई जहाज या पानी के जहाज के नाम से पूर्व हम Article के रूप मै The का प्रयोग करते है |
Example-
1-
The Ganga is a holy river.
2-
The Bay of Bangal.
3-
The Himalaya.
4-
The Taj Express.
5-
The Vikrant.
6-
The Kingfishar.
7- He reads
the Ramayan daily.
8-She reads
The Times of India.
9-
The Agrawal family went to Mathura.
10-
The Hindus go to temple.
7- The का प्रयोग हम राजनैतिक दलों के नाम से पूर्व, किसी ऐतिहासिक घटना से पूर्व ,शरीर के अंगो से पूर्व, सैन्य संगठनो से पूर्व ,तथा Ordinal से पूर्व, सुवह शाम दोपहर से पूर्व, किसी संस्था
के नाम से पूर्व, नागरिकता से पूर्व, होटल पुस्तकालय तथा संग्रहालय से पूर्व, तथा जलवायु घटना से पूर्व, हम The लगाते है | हम भाषा से पूर्व कोई Article नहीं लगते है
लेकिन भाषा किसी जाति,सम्प्रदाय को व्यक्त करे तो उससे से पूर्व हम Article The लगते है |

4- He was

6-
